jd 710

hello i am from Washington, im 18 years old. i am looking at getting a john deere 710. the man ants $500 for it, he says the tires are old and shot, the head is rebuilt, not installed and he says there is some pitting in the liners. i was wondering what motor these have and if i should take on this project. aka are parts avaiable. im worried the ip is shot from sitting and im thinking injectors ight be shot too. are overhaul kits avaiable?

To be honest DON'T buy it. It was built in Germany to European low standards. Terrible hydraulics and so on. John deere stepped in then the 2120 and 3130 was born.

Get a 3010 3020 4010 or 4020 as a project. Much better money return and damn good tractors with lots of parts available the 710 not so much as it's an oddball.
