I'm a long time lurker. Finally found one that caught my eye and going to look at it this weekend wondering if there is anything to make sure to look at. It has 668 hrs and 1500 km. So seems like it was idled a bit. It comes with a set of tracks as well. He says he used it for freezing in winter roads.

If you can have a dealer check it out, so much the better.

If not, be sure it was serviced regularly, look it over good for rust and check all the joints (CV, universal, etc.) for play.

Then go for a long drive in both 2 and 4 wheel drive and try everything that is evident. If you still like it, check the fluids to be sure they stayed up and go from there.

What is the general condition, inside and out? How much is the asking price? Why are they selling?

Looks in very good condition. See soon here. Asking $17500 with the tracks. No use anymore quit freezing roads so has 2 sitting there. The other is a 2015 with 1000 some hrs and 2500 km.

Man, at that price for a 2014, even with tracks, I'd check the price of a new 1100c with warranty and 0 hours. How bad do you want / need the tracks? We have other members in Mich and other snowy areas that take care of snow without tracks. If financing part of purchase a new one would get you lower interest, maybe zero percent. I used Kubota finance for my tractor and was very happy with doing business with them.

Good luck

$27000 for a new one. Won't be plowing just checking pipelines so I think I will need them for when the snow Gets a few feet deep

Looks like a good machine. Lots of luck with the tracks.Looks like you might be in the market for some extra LED lights.

That's about 13700 USD currently. I'd say well bought. Report back this winter on the track system if you get a chance.
Nice 1100.

You guys are killing me with all this talk about Alberta and Grand Prairie. When I retire, I am planning to buy a new Chevy 2500HD and travel trailer and camp my way across Canada with my Wife. Truly God's country.

Now if I can only find a way to haul the 1120D with me, that would be perfect!

Save your money Beer and fuel are expensive up there! I highly recommend anyone who has a chance to drive the Alcan, from the forests of BC to the Buffalo of the Yukon. Be prepared to take a rock or three into the grill and windshield of your truck though!
