Kubota Z482 2 cyl oil filter

I have a Z482 2 cyl Kubota diesel engine driving a generator. I am trying to fine an oil filter that fits it properly. The filter that I got from the dealer fits but not as good as the original. The threads are loose and the seal seems off. I was afraid to use it and the dealer insited it was correct. Before I do maybe someone out there has crossed this issue and can give me some advice

I'm surprised that the Kubota filter doesn't fit properly. I've never had a problem with 3 Kubotas engines over the last 10-years or so.

As Zilla has said, you can go to the Wix web page and cross reference OEM filters. It's a really handy tool. With a generator engine, you may have to refer back to the equivalent tractor engine to come up with with the Wix equivalent filter. Good luck.
