Determine Year on Kubota with Serial Number

I have a Kubota M6800 and I am trying to determine the year of this Tractor. It is a DE Series and the # is 65915. Can someone tell me how to determine the year it was made?

I can't find the exact year but that model was made 1998-2005.

Can you find a VIN# on the tractor (like what your car has)? It's 16 or 17 characters long.

If you find that:
If it's 16 characters long, the 9th character is the year.
If it's 17 characters long, the 10th character is the year.

Thank you, I will have to look for another number. The one I saw on a silver plate said it was a DE Series and then had a 5 digit number. I thought it was a 2005 or 2006. I will look again. Thanks so much for everything
