Quick attach any good

Hi Ranger! Welcome to our little tractor internet forum. I'm glad you found us.
Most of the quick attach modules requires a quick attach piece be put on the tractor and every implement. I did not care for that and have never tried one like that.

I did purchase a Pat's Easy Change System which makes hooking up big implements a whole lot easier. This system has saved my back over and over.

All it is is an add on to each of your lower arms. Works like a charm.
Below is a link to pats site of which I have no affiliation other than being a satisfied customer ...plus a pic of one of the product.

Ditto, can't go wrong with these. The other frame-system is more expensive and may not always line up with your attachments. Because Pat's bolt onto the hitch arms, the arms are free to be adjusted for different widths. The result is a pair of arms with grabbers on the ends for almost any attachment made for the category of your 3ph.

I guess that is the way I am going to go I was kinda wanting the plane QA because I plain on getting a hydraulic top link but it should work just as good with the pats.

Good; I have a hydraulic top link and my 3ph is working perfectly. BTW, why is your Kubota called Special Utility?

Ranger, there are a few reasons I went with Pat's system.
On a Quick Hitch, some implements wont work.
1. There is supposed to be an industry standard on width at the bottom but not all implement manufacturers adhere to that.
2. You have to get off the tractor to hook up the PTO shaft, if needed, so why not connect the top link at that time?
3. The top hook may be at the correct position, or it may not. Some quick hitches are adjustable, some not.

I try to place all my implements on 4X4's. That way when I back up to it I don't have to make sure I'm lined up completely square. I back up with the tractor and kinda shove the implement around until both hooks line up. Lift up on the hydraulic lever until they lock. Get off and hook up the PTO and the top link. The hydraulic top link makes it even better.

I bought mine years ago at the Louisville tractor show and have never taken them off yet.

The only implement that wouldn't work for me was a Yanmar tiller. The pins were too close to the tiller sheet metal.

The Pat's system is excellent.

I went with a Quick Hitch, and used it as the basis for building rear forks and a rear platform that I simply back into. I don't have to get off the tractor to attach the top link.

I also discovered I could use a chain to make the flexible link I needed for mowing uneven ground.

Here are a couple of pictures.

As I see it, the chain replaces the top link?
Yep, you got it. Quite a few of us use a chain instead of the regular top link when brush hogging. Gives more flexibility.

Good post CA. Long time no see. :tiphat:

Hi! I'm around. I see that most of the posts now are about the RTV's, where I know less than nothing.

Finally, this was a question where I can add something.

I like the ability to back up to an implement and shove it around with the QH until it is aligned. Particularly in the spring when my disc hasn't been used for a while and its half embedded in the ground.

I don't know if it is visible in my photos but I replaced the QH's top hook height-adjustment bolts with pins that have clips on the end. This makes it simple to adjust the height of the top hook.
