Quick connect for hyd hoses

Just bought some quick connects for the hoses for the loader.

I understand that there are more than 1 type, something like flat face ones and something else. Anyway, can anyone tell me what type these are, and are they any good?
I bought them because of the price, I wasn't panning on using QDs, but for the price it didn't seem a bad idea.

Also, any tips for keeping dirt out? I didn't see any caps for them at the shop, and I haven't seen any caps on ones on other tractors.

These are the ones.

Those look like the type that Kubota uses on some of there tractors. You know, the low end ones that start at $25,000 US dollars....
