Whitewater Wildlife Management Area

Gone But Not Forgotten
This is an area that I spend a lot of time at. Every time I go through it I find a surprise. The fog was moving out at this time.

Gone But Not Forgotten
This picture was taken a couple of months ago. This is a pair of Trumpeter Swans and their Cygnets. They were hatched within eight hours of me taking this picture. I have been watching this pair and nest for months and was worried whether the cygnets would make it or not because of flooding waters. They made it. This picture was taken with a 400mm lens and even then I had to zoom in the picture.

Thanks Doc. :tiphat: I have a lot to learn yet though. Leaving here soon for vacation and I hope to get some whales and I am sure I will run into other animals.

I started out almost two years and Trains was my subject at most. Still love the trains but have taken an interest in Wildlife also. I have done some nice landscapes also.
