Creeps down

Just purchased a used JD 4230 which has a loader. There are two remotes in the back of the tractor (believe this is correct terminology). The loader is connected to one of the remotes and has separate controls. The loader works fine. The problem is that when an implement is attached to one of the remotes, the cylinder on the implement leaks down--very steady leak down. There are no visible leaks and it occurs on both implements. The person I purchased the tractor from told me that it doesn't matter which remote the implement is hooked to--it does the same thing. The loader does not leak down. Now I haven't had a chance yet to try switching remotes myself. Any suggestions on what it could be and how to repair? Since the loader has a separate control, could it be in the control of the tractor? Grasping at straws!!!
Thanks,

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new (to you) tractor.

Is it going down when the tractor is running or after it's turned off? Going down when the tractor is off is pretty common and I'd consider it normal.
