Clicking noise in the front

I have a RTV 900 and have noticed when I go in reverse there is a clicking noise from the front. I am unable to determine if it's on the right or left side. Last week I changed the CV boots on front thinking it would fix the problem. It did not. The bearings appeared to be fine.

Front driveshaft possibly?

Is there anyone who can walk beside the RTV and listen while it's in motion ? This might help pinpoint the noise. It's only in reverse that you hear the click ? collie

It's only in reverse and even if someone walks beside it, it's hard to pinpoint the source. My front shock broke today and I wonder if it could have been the shock giving me a warning.
