Will this winch work for my Kubota RTV500?

Hi. I'm new to the forum and as a RTV owner. I just received a RTV500 as a present from my wife, and I've bought a Viper 4000 lb. winch for it. It comes with everything I need to install it but I'm not sure if the mounting plate is compatible. It is a universal 4 bolt 3 x 4.88. Any help will be much appreciated.

sorry saint, I've never even seen a 500. I always mount mine so that it's easy to remove. Currently it's mounted on a hitch receiver. I pull the pin and slide the whole thing off. Otherwise it's in the way and gets extremely dirty.

Hey Saint, welcome to the forum. I purchased my winch as a package to be sure the correct mounting plate was with the winch. You should be able to contact the manufacturer and purchase a mounting plate specifically for the 500.

I did have to remove the original plate then mount the new plate that was specifically for my winch and unit. Hope that helps.
