93 Corvette LT1 engine ( installed in 2005 w/ 26k miles on it). 400HP. auto Trans 40th Anniversary edition. 84k miles, Runs GREAT. Removable top. This car is FAST!!! Was 7900 but I hope to sell it ASAP ...first $5800 takes it home. Will consider trade for a Kubota RTV 900 with hydraulic dump, will pay difference for right RTV.
Come on now ...one of you guys are tired of your RTV and would love a Vette, right? :poke: :yum: I have hopes someone near SE Ohio will be ready to trade.

Everyone wanted to trade me rather than pay cash. So, I had the vette detailed and it sure shined, but still no one would pay the price.

So, I started calling on car ads that I would want to trade the vette for and pay the difference. As expected most said no. The ones that did say yes turned out not to be vehicles I would accept. Something was lacking or they were not as good as advertised.

I had had the vette since July and knew I did not want to keep it one day longer than I had to. None of the tractor dealers would even consider the vette on trade for a RTV .... so I checked with my favorite Toyota dealer. They had a nice, slightly used, 2014 4Runner, 25k miles, loaded with the sport TRD add on's which meand it would also fill in for the Jeep Wrangler that I sold this past summer and it had a tow package that could tow my new boat. So I bit the bullet and traded the vette on it. I rarely trade in but the deal on this one was perfect for me, and I was so glad to get the vette outof my driveway.

So here are a couple pics of the vette all shinned up and one of the new to us 4Runner. Guess it will have to fill in on the chores the new RTV was going to help with.

Nice 4Runner!

I'm starting to look at small SUV's. Probably going to get a Honda CRV or Toyota RAV4 for the daughter. Once the van finally dies, would like to get something like a 4Runner or Highlander.

My son just got a honda Pilot. I had not paid attention to those prior but they are neat SUV like vehicle. His is used but came with 3 rows of seats and a drop down dvd player for kids (or adults) in the rear two rows of seats. Plus it has a tow rating somewhere in the 2k range. It already has come in handy for towing a utility trailer that he needed for a weekend.
