We have a L2900 Kubota Tractor. We had the post auger on it Saturday and was putting in a hole for a fence post. When the drill was down about 2 1/2 feet the auger just slowed down and stopped. It was like it was turned off. We checked the hydraulic fluid and it was ok. What could be wrong?

Welcome to the forum.

Did the auger stop but the PTO kept turning or did the PTO stop as well?

If the PTO kept turning, it's the slip clutch on the PHD.

sounds like it's in a bind. Unhook the auger and see if you can wiggle it from the top ...also check to see all else on the tractor works with it unhooked.
