Default Deere AMT (pre-Gator) - any good?

This just appeared on Craigslist an hour east of me. Apparently its a small dump body with a single front wheel and four rear wheels driven.

Looking online all I could find for pre-Gators was posts from 15 years ago about their plastic bodies disintegrating but otherwise I got a good impression about reliability.

Is this worth going to look at?

I knew a guy that had one. It seemed to work out great for him.
I'm suspicious at that price but hey there are good deals out there. Just in case it's a great deal you better get there quick. If it runs and drives okay, bring her home. You don't have much to loose.

I decided to pass on this one. Doc, thanks for the comments!

The inexpensive ones I found on Ebay have rotted plastic bodywork replaced by badly-fitted sheet metal, or offered as-is with rotted floorboards where you can see the ground below. "No brakes, needs clutch linkage, left for you to replace" for example. No thanks.

And as I noted above people were asking back 15 years ago where to find NLA parts and repair advice, generally without getting an answer.

My two elderly Yanmars - even older than this Deere - don't need anything to keep them in service beyond occasional oil changes etc. Starting on this worn out Deere would take me into the realm of endless complicated repairs.

Most of all, I don't think it would have any practical application here. It's not as well matched to my applications as what I already use:
