I looked at mine earlier, as I was curious. It says not more than 6 inches because the tires may cause it to float! That's the only comment.
I can say this with authority. THE RTV WILL NOT FLOAT !!!!

We have had ours up to the steering wheel going threw the swamps. Falling into
low areas.....
Not playing around. Not proving a point to anyone. Something that had to be done . Having to come out like this for it flooded. This is no BS.
Peanut and some others has seen some pics of us having to do this.
We had all vents brought up high. That baby would go. It's not designed for that,
but it went threw that water with not problem.....
Now, on another time. We had some of my friends RTV's with tracks on them, going threw water up to the steering wheel and then some ....
This time we were testing the tracks out ..... for duck hunting ....
