Hello,
I'm looking to sell a 1940-1941 John Deere Model H. It has not seen ANY use and been stored in a garage for the last 40+ years. It was started up on occasion and driven around briefly every few years or so. I'm not sure the exact year, I looked up the serial number a few years ago and seem to remember it being a 1940 or 1941. It was my Dad's tractor, he passed away last year and I'm trying to help my mom part with many of his 'belongings' that are a difficult reminder for her. I'd also like to get the best value for it (to help her expenses) while making sure it goes to a good home.

The sheet metal is in very good shape, no rust just needs to be cleaned up. Also has the wood saw/log cutter attachment (no belt). It was never brought to my attention that it needed anything, I just need to figure out how to start it (fly wheel/magneto).

Can anyone give me a good idea as to what it's worth? Anyone know of anyone with interest? Tractor is located in Newry, Maine. Thanks for any help you might be able to provide.
