Default Looking at buying a M&W LC1400 mower

Trying to figure out 2 things...
1. What size deck is on it
2. What to offer.

Haven't physically seen it yet. But the owner says it runs and goes. He doesn't remember what size the deck is. I know parts will be harder to come by, but $$ is very tight right now. I have attached 2 pictures of the mower he sent me.

I'd start low for sure. How old is that puppy? 700 seems like it would be a GREAT buy. 1200 would be a good buy. 2k would be to much for a used mower. My experience with used ones is they nickel and dimed me to death. Thus my lower offers.

It appears to be a 48 to 52" deck. Hard to be sure but that's what I'd guess.
Scott me up Beamy!

What about the engine? Look for damage and weak spots on the deck from underneath.. How much acreage do you plan to cut with it?

It appears to be an LC1400 model, mid to late 90's. What I could find it's a 16HP gas. With that engine I would expect it be around a 48" deck.
