Detaching Mower Side PTO Axle

I have a Ford 1210 (category 1 hitch) and a Howse bush hog. A friend gave me his old Woods finish mower. His mower doesn't have the axle. I have never removed the full drive axle from my bush hog. (I have detached and reattached the part that hooks to my PTO on the tractor side several times.)

My implement side attachment seems to have a bolt with a pin but I think that is a shear pin mechanism. I can't locate any other type of bolt or screw.
What the heck am I looking for and how do I detach it?

THanks

It might just be siezed on, no-one ever really takes them off. There might be a bolt going through the shaft that you have to take out too.

Usually you have 1 PTO shaft (you call it drive axle) for each implement, so the easiest solution is just to buy a new PTO shaft for the finishing mower!
Chances are that the shaft from the bush hog wont be the right length/spline for the finshing mower anyway.
