Kubota Hyd Remote

I have a L4600 I wanted the dealer to install a single remote with detent, so I could use a wood splitter or a hyd broom on the loader. dealer said you can't get a detent on the 1st remote, only on the 2nd or 3rd remote. these are $800. each. can I make something to hold the remote lever open that will give me continuous flow ? thanks

Many people just use a bungee cord to hold the lever in the open position.
