Sorry that I can't help you, but welcome to the forum. Have you tried looking at Messick's to see if they have anything that could help?

Hi RRRoger! Welcome to our tractor internet forum. I'm glad you found us.

I've tried searching for a free site for a wiring diagram and have not found anything worthwhile. Lots of places want to sell you one though.
I'll suggest going back to where you purchased the alternator. They should be able to give you some guidance on how it should be hooked up.
Otherwise maybe someone here will chime in with some experience of their own.
What Ford tractor are you putting the alternator in?

I would expect a diagram inside the box for $360 (typical Dealer price).
There was nothing onsite.
I paid $120 at TractorPartsInc

I found out that my Ford 545C had a D5NN10300D in it, when I removed it.
The E7NN10B376BB was recommend by all the research I did prior to ordering it.
By fabricating a belt tension bracket, I was able to install it but then became stumped by the wiring as the Alternator is not marked.
Apparently the new alternator has a regulator in it, so all I have to do is hook up the Battery wire and one to the guage.
