Cordwood Saw

Bought this used recently............... been keeping my eyes open for a nice one for awhile. We heat primarily with wood, and I'm hoping this will save me a fair amount of time every year.

My wife thinks I should stay 100 feet away from these . Just because I've had a few mishaps in my life.......... she calls me 'accident prone' . I call me 'active' .

These have been around in one form or another for the past 50 years or more.............. anyone else have one?

Nice looking saw. Seems to have more to it (guards, etc...) than I remember. Some of the ones I've seen appear that they will reach out and do harm. Of course I also seem to remember the ones I saw were belt drive, from a different era.
