Also, in general, if you find a thread that you like to keep track of, in the thread toolbar at the top of the thread, there's a "Thread Tools" option. Click on that, then pick "Subscribe to this thread".
Whenever you click on your "User CP" (top toolbar), the first thing listed there is a box your subscribed threads. If there's no new posts to your subscribed threads, the box will be empty so you click on "View all subscribed threads".
This works well for your personal subscriptions (things important to you). The number of subscriptions can get overwhelming if you have the option turned on that says to automatically subscribe to every thread you post to so it's best to have that option turned off.
