Newbie here with some fun stuff to show off!

Hello everyone, new to the forum. I wanted to introduce myself and share some pictures of a couple items i built for my RTV-X1120. First is a front quick coupler for a plow or any front mounted accessories I may decide to build at a later date and the second is a height adjustable reciever hitch. I dont know about any of you but I found the height and location of the stock reciever to be about useless. Let me know what you all think? Thanks.

Welcome to the forum!

If you meant to post pictures, they didn't come through. :(

I used to live close to you. Just north of Arcade.

OK, I see them now. No idea what the problem was earlier.

Looks sweet! What does that rear hitch weigh?

All together about 20lbs. I have used and abused it and have had to slack chain frozen logs to get them moving and have had no deflection in the plate or any of the structural areas where it is mounted.

The CV boot guards are just made out of a home depot 5 gallon homer bucket i cut to shape with my bandsaw. I made a template of the shape i needed out of card board and cut 4 of them out of one bucket. I use 2 zip ties per guard securing them to the lower control arms. That way it is easy to cut the zip ties and remove them when i wash the machine and that also allows me to inspect the condition of my CV boots.

Its funny you should mention the color of the bucket. At the time i hadnt given it much thought but afterward i looked at them and kind of chuckled because i had white, black and yellow buckets besides the orange ones kicking around and must be my sub-concious picked the orange one for a reason :bonk:
