Default Fuel gauge Problems RTV900

I've read alot about the fuel gauge problems of the RTV 900's. I recently purchased an 04 and the fuel gauge was not working(on empty). I read that the easiest fix was to just purchase a new gauge. So I did. Problem now is that the gauge constantly reads full. Any ideas? People are telling me the sending unit, but not sure where I locate it on the machine, or what to do if I do find it? Thanks

Hi Knox, look on top of the tank as you squat by the air filter canister. There is a post on this forum about how to test it. Try the search feature on this forum. If it doesn't pop up then we will dig it up for ya.Did you check the wiring on the gauge also? bordercollie
