Think we A'skert 'em off????

Brandi,
No I didn't build it. It started out being a one acre pond but the previous owner started digging in it in the 1960's and ended up with a six acre pond.

Ed,
I know, we did talk about it. I'm going to do it, just wanted someone to say "DO IT" one more time!

Mud
Mud,
Do you have any photos of the "lake".
:nopics:
hugs, Brandi

Those guys are really cute!
icon10.gif
Do you breed them or are they just pets? I think a lot of people keep them as pets but I dont know anyone who has one.
Nicahawk,
They are nuetered and spayed. I bought them 4 years ago from the chain store, Petco. I have heard them live at most, 8 years in captivity.
So in ferret years, my fuzzies are as old as the old member.:respect:
hugs, Brandi

You just LOVE to live life on the edge... don't you! :respect:

Dougster :starbucks:

"Livin' on the edge" got me to the fine state :pat: I find myself in right now :eek2: , but in reality if I had the chance to do things all over again I would probably do the same things all over again too (maybe even better  ). Jay :letitsnow:

mobilus:

You are too :yum: .

It looks like you will be getting some snow this evening and lowering temperatures the rest of the week. Should help the fire situation down there. Jay :letitsnow:
Woohoo, way to go Jay! This morning it was actually warm outside, and we had plenty o' fog. Looking forward to a good ground-soaking steady rain for a few days!

I thought you'd wake up when I threw that "old man" comment out there, Dougster. Like Jay, I think that the game really got exciting in the last quarter. I'll take that anyday over a game with one team running away with the game early on. I'm not a big football fan, especially pro ball, but the way this year's Super Bowl competitors played out made it interesting.

Now just wait a couple of weeks, NASCAR kicks off...real sports have a fire-breathin', earth pondin' motor in the mix somewhere!

Now this is where we part ways I guess. We eat sleep and breathe football at my house. This includes the wife and daughter. We are about to hit a stage or mourning/hibernation. College football is out favorite, but the NFL does to fill in until the Super Bowl... then it's the countdown to fall again.... Not a big fan of Nascar... I don't get a thrill from watching cars go around in circles I guess:sorry:

Well, I see you are still alive and that Brandi did not come down hard on you. You were lucky this time. Next time? Who knows! :yankchain:

I'll tell you one thing: The GF was not very happy. :o She actually cares about the silly game... I think she even bets on it! She would have been very pleased with a BellyCheck/Brady/Moss walk-away... but it was not to be. Odd, but I think that outside of greater Boston, most folks were very happy to see the BellyCheck/Brady/Moss triumvirate lose to Peyton's little brother.

Dougster :starbucks:

This is especially true for those who swore Eli was not a good QB and would never lead his team anywhere. And he one it faster than Peyton did right?:yum:

I copied this from what I believe to be your area's aviation synopsis:

GUSTY SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH EARLY THIS EVENING AS A
SURFACE LOW NEAR TAD INTENSIFIES. A COLD FRONT IS EXPECTED TO MOVE
THROUGH THE PANHANDLES TONIGHT. THE WINDS WILL THEN PICK UP BEHIND
THE COLD FRONT TUESDAY MORNING. AN UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE
ACROSS NEW MEXICO TONIGHT AND ACROSS THE PANHANDLES ON TUESDAY. THIS
SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO BRING RAIN TO THE AREA AHEAD OF THE FRONT AND
THEN AFTER THE FRONT MOVES BY THEN THE RAIN SHOULD MIX WITH AND
CHANGE OVER TO SNOW. EXPECT VLIFR CONDITIONS IN SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW
TUESDAY MORNING.

Should help the fire risk. You should be cooler after the front blows on out.

30 years ago I used to follow SCCA stuff and I had a modified Datsun 510 that pushed quite a few extra HP  (nice little street machine)- that habit got a little too expensive; had to get rid of that "vice". I still like the sights, sounds and smells of those big block babies revving up (especially the NO2 guys). Recently I "discovered" tractor pulls. I have never been to one before even though Cummington has held tractor (and ox) pulls every year since I have lived here. I can hear them all the way to my house from the fairgrounds which is probably 3 miles away. I think I will go to the fair for the second time in my life (there are rumors about me and sheep which are completely fallacious and fried dough scares me  ); last time I went was 30 years ago. Do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it. Is that enough ?:yum: :yum:

You know it's bad enough that they lost,(not that I even care) but I have had to listen to the moaning and groaning all day long. If that's not bad enough, ( I know Doug knows this) but I am currently working at Gillette Stadium. :pat: So lets just say I have had enough of the Perfect season gone astray!:puke1:

Back in the day, I was a devout Miami Dolphins fan. Absoluely ADORED Larry Czonka's style of play. So I never wanted to see their undefeated season even challenged. Later on, I followed the Joe Montana 49ers, and in recent years, the Indianapolis Colts have been my team of choice.:respect:

No where will you find a NE Patsies hat in my collection. :yum:

All year long, I was biting my lip trying to keep from saying just how much I detested the Pats. :nocomment:

Fast forward to Friday. One of the guys in our office is from New York. He's a Giants fanatic. ALL I heard all day was how they were gonna show the Pats just how it's done.:smartass:

Me, along with my eternally BIG MOUTH, decided to speak out IN FAVOR of the PATSIES. just because of Mr Humble and his gIANTS :wtf:

And guess who's had to eat crow all day long today?:shitHitsFan:

I still hope you managed to show some compassion and a decent level of empathy for those suffering rather badly around you.

Dougster :starbucks:

Thanks for the forecast, Jay! Very good news. The catfish in my tank are sending out for O2, and a few more warm days like today might end in a big kill.

I love tractor shows and pulls, most racing, and I'll be taking my grandson to the Monster Truck show here in a couple of weeks. The grandkids spent the night with us last Saturday night and my grandson wanted to have me surf for: #1:TRACTORS, #2: 4-WHEELERS, and #3: Monster Trucks. So he sat in my lap and we did just that. He's three years old...I'm definitely an influence in his life and I love it!

I'll take your word on the sheep issue...:whistle:  :noevil:

As for county fairs, I don't ride the rides...oh no...but I do go to look at the equipment and livestock on display. (Of course, I might not be looking at the sheep with that lustful look you're rumored to have...)
But I always come away feeling pretty good about myself, my wife (oh, I ALWAYS feel good about her...whew!), my kids, etc. Like Foxworthy says, you ain't seen hick until you've been the the fair!:yum: Makes your fambly look durn normal.

I think we have just solved the mystery as to why Bill BellyCheck and his Patriots lost. :pat:

It was all Junk's doing!!! :(

Hey Brandi,

Here's a couple of pics of my pond. The dude holding the bass is our local guitar tech. He loves fishing and I love having my guitars set up right. Needless to say, when I get a new guitar, he's invited to come fishing!

Ed,
You've talked me in to widening my stance. I'm going to get a price from my local dealership. I don't think I can handle it myself. My rears are filled.
