Hustler Raptor SD 60 inch cut. Left Hydrostatic motor wont move.

When my Ariens, it has a ZT3100 hydro motor, did the same thing I took it apart and found a broken spring. I talked to one dealer and he said they change a lot of them out. He had one he had removed and gave it to me. I took it apart, took replaced the bad spring and it has worked good for...

    Rear axle questions

As long as you have it torn down check the u-joints, if you have very many miles on it they may be ready for a replacement. After market are a lot cheaper then Kubota's.

Looking for an approximate cost of CV boot replacement

Do a search for a complete axle for your unit. Unless it's a split boot you will need to remove it anyway. I got a set of axles about the same price as boots and have had no problems with them.

    Rear Wheel Bearings.

It looks to be about the same design as the older 1100"s. The rear axle has a nut that holds the rear hub (the wheel bolts onto the hub) in place. If I remember right they increased the torque value for the nut because it was allowing the hub to move and it would strip the splines in the hub...

Anyone Have Experience with Everything Grapple?

My grapple is not from Everything Attachment so I cannot help you there. Mine is more like a open fingers with fingers that you can pick up brush, rocks, trash, etc. You also can get what looks like a open sided bucket to slide under and clamp. I do have some safety advice for anyone with a...

    Where is the spark arrestor

I have a older 1100 and the spark arrestor is on the exhaust pipe coming out of the muffler. You have 2 Allen head screws that hold it in the muffler, just remove them and pull it out to clean.

RTV 900 cranks but won't start

I also had a stop solenoid burn up on a tractor a few weeks ago. I used a piece of sting to tie it open to get it back to the house to get the part to fix it. A OEM listed for $280 and I found one online for about 30 so it pays to shop around, just had to wait a few days to get it. I have...

RTV 900 cranks but won't start

Sounds like no fuel. Check the fuel pump, I've had to replace mine. You could remove the hose after the pump and see if its pumping while you crank it.

    Off-Topic: Anyone Use a Grapple?

I have a Vassar grapple. Instead of looking like a open bucket its more like a blade with a set of fingers and is heavy duty. I did not have the hydraulics on the front and did not want to pay the high price to have them installed. Instead I ran a set of hoses from the back of the tractor to...

    Replacement Axle or Shaft Source

I've got a older 1100 and had a boot go bad last year. I replaced both axles with a Caiman CAM-KU302 complete axle. A set cost about $200. They were a good fit and I have not had any problems with them. They are worth looking into.

    RTV1100 evaporator leak

I thought about it but then you would need something to put over the joint you just made. I don't know if AC joint tape for ductwork will stick to the plastic and work. Something else that might work is a metal strip with foam backing screwed down across the joint. What I did on the heater...

    RTV1100 evaporator leak

I think its a 08 or 9. I got it used. I just get tired of the high cost of parts from the dealer and how hard it is to find aftermarket parts that are correct. It gets hot quick if the air quits. I hate to leave the front open because I had a rear window on a tractor break while it was open.

    RTV1100 evaporator leak

Over the years I have had to take the ac apart and clean the evaporator a couple of times because the filters did not keep the dust out and it stops up so you don't get much air flow. It developed a leak this year and needed to be repaired or replaced. Using the part number I found the price...

    RTV1100 doors hard to close

I pulled the door post and it has round holes not slotted. The post moves in more of a arc mainly in and out. With the hinge bolts loose you can pull on the end of the door and get it to move. It does not look like the best way to have to adjust a door but it worked for me. Maybe it will...
