I'm looking at buying the Ramsey 5000 for the RTV. Does anyone have any suggestions or one in use? I've been in some sticky situations already and currently use a hand winch, which works fine if there is someone to help. An automatic winch would be nice. I'm still thinking of getting a plow and...
I have also turned down the idle and the dump work just as before. Likewise, I'll will find out this winter it it effects the cold performance. Also turning the idle down increased the shifting ability alot and the noise was reduced as well. Very glad to have found the advise from this forum.
I'll need it to broadcast the fertilizer and seed directly on the ground. Also I'm planning on frost seeding in the spring. A rear mount might work, but if I could leave the back open I think it would be nice. I'm just beginning at this food plot project. It's all cleared out now and graded off...
Looks like an awesome rig you've designed. Could you tell me the brand and where you got the spreader from. I'm in the process of developing food plots at the hunting camp and that looks like it would be perfect.

Thanks,

I purchased one from ssbtractor.com for about $90 plus shipping. It's OK, but I've found out more from this site than from the book. It's just copies from an original book. I thought the price was kind of steep for the quailty, but it does explain a lot.
The shifting is getting better the more I use it. I think I'll change the filters again after about 25 hours. I informed the dealer what I did and that the filter and fluid hadn't been changed. He was going to check into it. Also he is going to check with kubota and get some reimbursement for...
I currently have the WS tires. They do great on hard surfaces. I have a lot of mud and live in snow country. What type of tire are best? I do ride on dirt roads quite often. The ITP 589's look like they have the traction, but how's the ride on hard surfaces?
I purchased the overhead console mainly for the switches and light. Theradio is a nice addition, but I would have rather had a spot to put gloves or something else instead of a CD/Radio. The speakers that come with it are small and don't sound that good, they are hard to hear when it's running...
I purchased the filters and oil today and we'll see if it helps. I finally got to drive it around in the woods for a while. It is an awesome machine!!! If I can get the shifting problem solved it would be great. The problem is mainly in reverse and it does happen on flat ground, but more on a...

Thank for the response and welcome. I purchased it from a Kubota Dealer and they were supposed to to a complete service. I will find out if they changes the tranny fluid/filter. Just looked at by invoice and there isn't a trany filter or fluid. Could this be the problem? Also my...
I just purchased a used (250 hrs) worksite model and outfitted it with a Curtis soft cab and overhead console. I haven't been able to use it much yet, we still have too much snow. But I have noticed that it is very difficult to shift through the gears especially when shifting from reverse to low...
