    Starting issues got me stumped!

The breather kit was on the original 2014 X 1100C starter I removed and new starter purchased had the kit with it, the kit seals the starter but water getting into the bell housing from some other source can still get into the starter.

    Starting issues got me stumped!

Sorry for the double picture, part 100 and the copper washer are at the bottom of Bell Housing, you will need to remove the skid plate to see part 100 and the bottom of the bell housing. Hope this helps.

    Starting issues got me stumped!

I don't have a picture, but you will have to take the rear skid plate off to see it, on the X1100C there are 5 bolts holding skid plate on, when you see the bell housing after skid plate removal you'll see the plug at the bottom. Earlier in the thread there was a suggestion of using a hole...

    Starting issues got me stumped!

Wish I had read this sooner, I would have changed out one less starter, original went bad, second new one lasted about a week, when I removed it it was full of water, couldn't understand how all the water got there. After reading this I removed the plug on the bell housing and the water poured...

    RTV 3 point hitch

I have one for RTVX1100, and have used a 5' box scraper with it, the only challenge is it is a lot less visible than using it with the tractor, I use it primarily on the front with a snow plow. good product overall and built well. Should be OK for road work, as it states in the write up there...

New member - Got my RTV today!

Quick comment on the doors looking different, they have changed the color from grey to black. Had a recent accident with the driver door and learned the hard way, new door was black and orange so it had to be returned and reordered the right color for the year.

    Re-purpose Box Lift Hydraulics

Hi Mork, The link posted will take you to what modifications were made to add a snowplow to the front with up and down and tilt. It has worked well, contrary to my statement about no snow we do get some every winter so it has had some use. http://www.nettractortalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15737

Anyone Using the Farmboy X Sport 3pt Hitch

I have the same unit, came as part of the Kubota Snowmax plow they sell, so it has been used on both the front of the RTV and the rear, works great for both. Have used a 48" box scraper on the rear, only issue there was it was not too visible so I use the box scraper on the tractor most of the...

Harry, I never got an answer on why the difference, maybe a dealer or tech who visits this forum could come up with an answer. Richard

    X1100 difficulty shifting transmission

Attached is the cable adjustment procedure from the shop manual, someone more talented that me could help turn the picture over. The Kubota service techs did make the adjustment on my machine and there was improvement in the shifting.

    RTV X1100 Hydraulic Mods

Harry, I modified a Universal Seizmik bar to fit on the roof mounts of the cab, I needed to get the bar low enough to clear a standard garage door which it does barely. The roof mounts were made from 1/4" steel in an L shape and bent down in the front to attach the bar to. I used 3 of the...
