Well I solved my problem. I had forgotten that I had the top of the transmission off because of a piece of plastic had been dropped in it. Pulled the top again this morning and found that the gears were not lined up like they should be. Lined them up and every thing is great now.

Have a Yanmar 2000 deisel. Started it one morning and later that evening it would not turn over. The started just bumped the engine. So smart me bought an new battery and $100 later same problem. So again being as smart as I am I bought a starter and solenoid. $339 later same problem. Tried to...
