Out with the old - In with the new tires that is

Here is where I bought my spacers; these should fit all Kubota RTVs with 1/2-20 bolts and 4x110mm spacing. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0945GJTJM?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title I cranked the shock setting up one notch a couple months ago. It had far less affect than the spacers as far as...

Out with the old - In with the new tires that is

I'm far less worried about the stress on the axles than I am on the stress of overturning in a curve. Axles are replaceable; I'm not.

Out with the old - In with the new tires that is

On or about April 7, 2016 I posted this pic of my new 26-11-12 ITP Blackwater Evolution tires replacing the existing Craptyle 25-11-12 tires: These were installed originally on my RTV-900, then transferred to my new 2021 RTV-XG850: Another pic with the IRPs: The ITPs were great for...

Want a new work UTV; who and what should I look for?

Well I test drove a Honda Pioneer 1000 the other day. Pretty nice machine, but: - Throttle was every bit as twitchy as the XG. :( The salesman said "you get used to it...." Yea, I've heard that before. - Bed was smaller, not rectangle and made of plastic. There goes installing a bed rack...

Want a new work UTV; who and what should I look for?

I want to ditch my Kubota RTV-XG850 and it's moronic twitchy throttle design flaw, get rid of the problematic engine and the 40 mph purposely throttled speed. So far, I'm looking at the Honda Pioneer 1000 and the Polaris Ranger 1000, both of which have 1000-1500 lb payload bed capacity. What...

    L3400 Series Grapple Suggestions

I have a 48" from Construction Attachments (IRC). It weighs less - and therefore picks up heavier objects (like a log) - than it's 54" or 72" brethern. I've never regretted getting the 48" version. Good luck.

    Need new tires

The 2nd pic above is a RTV-900. I can't imagine another -900 model year would be all that different. 25" >>> 26" is only a 1/2" difference. A much bigger difference is old vs. new tires - see first pic above.

    Need new tires

There is a HUGE problem with going from the 25" tires to 26" tires on your RTV: It's going to make it look great! 25" Craptyles on the right, 26" ITP Blackwater Evolutions on the left: On the hoof: Those same ITP's are now on my RTV-XG850. This is a pic before running on asphalt wore...

Time for new tires for my Sidekick

I bought my Sidekick almost 2 years ago this May. When I got it, the first thing I did was swap out the 25" OEM tires and replaced them with the 26" ITP Blackwater Evolutions that were on my old RTV-900. Pic of the 25" EOM tires vs. 26" ITP Blackwaters: ITPs: One of my new hobby's in the...
