    Solenoid?

Is there a way of confirming it’s the solenoid? Like Smilingreen said if it clicks then all the switches are good?

    Solenoid?

Hi I have a z122 with the Kawasaki engine. Today it just clicks when trying to start it. I payed around with all the safety switches and I think, but not sure they are all fine. When I bridge the starter solenoid with a screwdriver it will start. What I am wondering is the solenoid shot? I’m...

    Need new tires

D do you think 26 / 11 / 12 backwaters would be good for my machine? Enough clearance, etc. I love the look of the 26 on yours

    Need new tires

Hi: I know there are many tire threads here but I will ask anyway. I have an RTV900 that needs new tires, we use it in the bush a lot so a lugged tire is preferred. The current size on the RTV are 25/11/12 on the rear and 25/10/12 on the front. I am wondering about increasing the size to 26...

    Front Versus Rear Receivers RTV-X1120

I find the front hitch very easy for moving trailers in and out of the barn and garage, but, it hurts when you walk into it!

    Jerry can fuel pump

Hi I’m getting tired of holding heavy fuel cans and trying not to spill fuel or develope a hernia. Has anyone tried one of the battery operated pumps and are they worth it? Also, would you be able to switch it from gas can to diesel?

Service RTV and BX23 : Can You Name the extra part?

Well, all done, it was really quite easy.. I took a small aluminum pan like you would use on a bbq and put it under the drain plug. Backed the drain plug out almost to the end of the threads with my right hand, washer in my left hand. One quick move I pulled to plug slid on the washer and...

Service RTV and BX23 : Can You Name the extra part?

I stopped to pick up some fluid at the local dealer today and he confirmed that it is from the drain plug. I will think about it overnight, I do think I can pull the plug, slip the washer on and shove it back in with very little fluid loss. If anyone thinks I’m wrong please let me know. In doing...

    Oil Extractor

I serviced my RTV and BX using the extractor. It worked great for the oil changes and ok for the tranny. I was only able to get about half the fluid from the transmission with it. There are things in there that prevent getting all the way to the bottom of the tank.

Service RTV and BX23 : Can You Name the extra part?

I actually did the same thing. I was filling the transmission and suddenly I remembered that I forgot the drain plug :-0. I ran around the back and quickly put it in. I did make a mess and lost a couple of litres of oil. I bet that’s when the washer ( yes, it’s brass with rubber in the centre)...

Service RTV and BX23 : Can You Name the extra part?

I’m thinking it was from the drain plug and stuck like you said. I wonder if I can pull the plug and quickly get it back on without a huge mess?

Service RTV and BX23 : Can You Name the extra part?

No, it’s smaller, maybe 1” opening? Could it be from the magnetic transmission plug?
