    I looked at mine earlier, as I was curious. It says not more than 6 inches because the tires may cause it to float! That's the only comment.

    All: Thanks. All good info. I'll take care of the extensions on the vent lines. No interest though in a snorkel. If the water is that deep I don't need to go there. And I picked up a tube of dielectric grease this morning. Looks like I have a weekend project.
