Do you have the kit number for the third function kit? Or the instruction number off of your instructions? I tried looking for the kit and didn't see one listed for your model. If I have your numbers I can check to see if it is correct for your model. Maybe can find some updated instructions.

You would want regen locked out for log splitter operation.

You should have a power beyond kit installed on your tractor for a log splitter. BM18005. It is possible to connect to one of the loader couplers, but you need to tie the lever in position to get flow and there is restriction in flow through the valve, so the splitter will work slower.

Usually pulsating in the main pump is caused by insufficient flow being delivered to the pump from the transmission pump circuit. Has the filter been changed, sump screen cleaned, and trans full of oil? It is posible to be a problem with the main pump, but you need to verify it is being supplied...

Is #8 the seal you are trying to replace? If so, and you have off cover #1 and pin #4 removed, the only other thing holding it is the cast arm #9. Remove Bolt and washer#10 and 11. The shaft and the arm has tapered splines. They get very tight. I usually find a long 5/8" bolt, maybe 10 inches...

Error 207 indicates a problem with either the cam position sensor or the high pressure fuel pump position sensor. I wasn't aware of a sensor on the pump though. If your dealer plugs into it and checks the code with his computer, it will give a more detailed code to pinpoint which sensor it is...

The differences are whether you have hydraulic front wheel assist or not and whether the pump has a serial number plate or not. The original pumps never had a serial plate. If it has been replaced, it might have a serial plate. A 2wd 4020 with original pump with no serial number plate uses...

I agree. Replace orings 20, 21, and 23 in diagram. It only shows one valve there. There are actually 2. One is for pressure, and one is for return. Usually it is the larger oring #23. While it is apart, replace the piston seal also.

Just curious. Are you geting your compresssors from deere? New or remanufactured? Deere has recently quit selling the reman units due to reliability issues. They now sell only new compressors. By the way, the Denso conversions have had good resullts.

The engine does need to be removed to properly install the bushings. The bushings don't need align boring if installed properly with the correct tools. If the bushings are worn, chances are good that the shafts are worn also. The timing cover nees to be removed to access the front and center...
