With a lot of patience, trial and error the funnel tip was retrieved using a mechanical finger. I am always on the search for a better way to fuel the tank! Thanks JR

Thanks for replies ... things almost went from bad to worse when i thought about putting my medium size hand through the opening, but fortunately I did not try that. I could just see the local fire department trying to get my hand out of there. I will try the Napa part mentioned (mechanical...
ok ... so it was a long weekend with the RTV doing hard work on a lot of chores. My neighbor helped out and really liked the machine and he is thinking of buying one. I told him he could borrow it for a few days to check it out. I decided to gas it up. My regular funnel was not handy so I...
This was my first thought, something like this and I think I will still do it so that there is the option for a light, etc.... I looked for some quick disconnects at Radio Shack, but could not find them. Did you get yours at an auto store or somewhere else?

Now the issue is making sure my...
I finally found a sprayer that fits my needs, but the 12v connection to the RTV battery/electrical system is a mystery. The sprayer ( https://www.enviroquipinc.com/product_versions.aspx?categoryID=23&productID=416 ) came with battery clips and a toggle switch. Somehow I can't see attaching the...
There seem to be two types of plastic roofs -- the OEM roof and then there is the aftermarket one in the link that is rotational molded. They both cost about the same, but the aftermarket molded one seems to be of thicker material.

Randy,

I think it is the same. It seems that any of the soft tops may not stay snug because of how the velco attaches in the front -- just seems to be a matter of time until it will loosen. I may go for the roto molded hard top because it seems to have a more positive attachment ...
...

I am looking for a soft top maybe a hard top for my 900 model RTV. Here is the list of what I have found. Am I missing anything? And, among the softtops, do you have any preferences?

Thanks,

I am not using my RTV as much in the winter so it sits and so does the diesel (5 gallon can) that I bought before winter. Should I use a stabilizer product in the tank and in the gas can? This is the only one I have found ...

Thanks! My RTV has been very useful so far, but the sticky shifting is annoying. About half of my property is a hill that I travel up and down quite a bit hauling stuff. Making 3 point turns and other manuvers on the slope is awkard with the sticky shify, even with the pressure relief pull on...
I am mechanically challenged, but the idea of the coast valve sounds as if it might be worth the effort. With good instructions I can usually figure things out, but othewise .... is this an easy install? Thanks,JR

Sort of ... I think a sound opotion is a York rake. They seem to be the OEM for others and from what I can tell they are good products. I am also looking at some drag harrows, but I don't think they will do the same as the full blown York rake for getting up the debris that accumulates under...
