    the part number is C503E HUB it is like a cap that slides over the wheel axle to hold it in place. it bolts to the outside and you remove it to let hub and wheel drop out for replacing. it is heavy cast and a tight fit on the axle to hold it solid. jd no longer makes it and i can't find any...

    My 1530 john deere That was new in 69 I call an international. The jd diesel engine has made in france on it,Orginal tires said great britan,frame made in W. gremany.I replaced the stock insterment rpm /speed guage with a stock one from the dealor that had mexico on it.

    I have seen the Jd one. Really didn't care much for it. This is the type of work it would get and some nasty mud holes with a 200ft climb while loaded. I still have lots of JD equiptment from the dairy I sold never had the gator.

    thanks,fred I'll check out the press releases The aluminum frame in the 4x4 caught my eye. Much lighter and will haul up to 800lbs.

    did a search and found little. anyone have any experience or knowlege on them? I been hauling up to 800lb firewood loads in my rhino for 6 yrs and am looking at replacement. I climb a steep narrow trail when loaded. rhino has been good but something heaver wood be nice.
