I went through all my manuals and have been searching the internet to see if there is a relay somewhere. I can’t find it. When it is hovering around 0 degrees and I can’t get my rig in my garage because of the cab, makes for some cold troubleshooting.
OK, this sh!t is starting to get old. After the second storm this season (this one the big blizzard that hit the northeast) that I have not been able to use my RTVX with connect snow blower I’m starting to feel a little ripped off. Let’s face it, probably could have bought a hell of a snowblower...
Unfortunately I need the blower as I have nowhere to push snow. Curious your location, I would love to speak to a dealership that might give me the straight scoop on how to manage this K connect system
I have had the same noise issue with my 2020 RTVX 1100c with snowblower. From day one when it was being demonstrated to me I questioned how loud the rattle is when the unit is lifted. I did find only raising it as high as I need to to kept the noise to a minimum. I also disengage the pto when it...
Also here in NH and love the snowblower. Blew 36 inches of snow up a 30 degree slope last storm. No problems. There is a clearance reduction but I have not experienced any real issues
It was the dealership that suggested spacers. I’ve heard that there is potential for wearing parts faster on higher speed machines. I don’t think it will be much of an issue on our rigs.
I also have an 1100c with the snowblower and it is great. I have had a couple of issues with ground clearance but they are minor. I have very steep terrain and there are a couple of transition points where my driveway levels at the road and at the bottom of my drive that it will scrape if you...
Thanks, the dealer says it’s normal and it does sound better at higher rpms. Almost sounds like the k connect isn’t engaged fully at lower engin speeds.
Just bought the RTV x1100c with a snowblower. I am curious is yours is loud at low rpms? It sounds like a lot of rattling until the rpms are turned up. Thanks
I just bought a new RTV X1100c with a snowblower to use on my very steep driveway. I intend on running chains on all fours. My problem is clearance to the struts. I want to add wheel spacers. I can not find the hub bore specs for the wheels. Hub centric design seems like the right choice. Any...
