I bought a Lexan windshield for my RTV from a guy on e bay that made "kit" , for I think around $190. It came as a flat sheet with some clips that hold it to the ROPS really well, it bends to follow the shape. It also had a couple of aluminum channels for top and bottom for extra strength.
...
Re: rtv and side hills - and leaking fuel cap
Off topica bit - but I noticed your comments re the leaking fuel tank.

Don't know if you are aware of this 'fix" but if not it mighthelp you with the Kubota rep - forget whereI got the info butI think it's solid - my RTV goes in for 50 hour...
I looked into a turbo for my RTV last year fearing a loss of power at high altitude (live at 7000 feet). Mine definitely has problems on hills unless it is in low gear.

FYI there is a company is SW Colorado that makes a kit but it costs about $3,000 which is why I don't have one.
...
I know---

but we live in OK full timeand in NM part time - moving to NM (Ruidos area) next month so I bouughtit in Tulsa. It seemed like a good idea at the time. I'm still working here for a bit.

Re the ramps - glad I wasn't riding it! - our own trailer tilts so never needed...
Well I finally got the new RTV, Worksite model with ATV tires, roof and spray in bed liner. My wife towed it to our place in NM and I'll get to play with it next weekend - if she lets me. I can't wait!!

Of course she and her friend broke the ramps they borrowed to get it off the trailer...
thanks - I got a reponse from Kubota direct which confirmed up to 25%
loss at 7,000 feet. I found a turbo kit at SW Ag in Colorado but its
$3,000 so I guess I'll keep researching and try not to max it out.
I'll post a report on my test flight/maiden voyage in a few weeks - it looks pretty...
Just about ordered the RTV but am now wondering will it lose a lot of power at 7,000 feet and if so how can I fix it?

Why are there so many things to worry about when all you want is a good time?

Thanks Dave, just needed some folksto validate my "decision" . Off to check it out yet again. Only question was in its ability to pull a load (rocks/logs) up gradient off road. I will be using this to clear hillside etc.

I know we will work it hard - and have some fun doing it.
