anyone ever swap R4 tires for Ag tires?

R4/ Are they the same as so called, Industrial tires? or are they the mowing type?

    Modify ROPS

Thanks for the reply. I am not going to modify the ROPS; better safe than sorry. The limbs are going to be trimmed instead.

    Quick attach any good

As I see it, the chain replaces the top link?

    Quick attach any good

Good; I have a hydraulic top link and my 3ph is working perfectly. BTW, why is your Kubota called Special Utility?

    Quick attach any good

Ditto, can't go wrong with these. The other frame-system is more expensive and may not always line up with your attachments. Because Pat's bolt onto the hitch arms, the arms are free to be adjusted for different widths. The result is a pair of arms with grabbers on the ends for almost any...

    Modify ROPS

What about modifying by adding hinges? If they were much like the ones on foldable ROPS, of the same gauge steel, etc, why not?

    Modify ROPS

You're right, never shorten, because the rigid ROPS on my B3030 is already short enough; the foldable is 8 inches higher.

    Modify ROPS

The trade-in value doesn't concern me; I don't foresee any trade-in. But instead of adding hinges, why not just lower the ROPS to a lower but still safe height?

    Modify ROPS

My B3030 comes with a rigid ROPS. Has anyone modified a ROPS to add hinges to fold them down? Anyone have a price on the Kubota foldable ROPS for the B3030?

    Belly mower for new B3200

Kanook, thanks for the reply. Maneuverability is why I have a smaller tractor with MMM, but for wide open spaces over large terrain, I use the pull-behind.

    Belly mower for new B3200

Have you mowed with the F30? If so, how is it around trees? I've always thought that front-mounts are better around trees. Was also thinking of using the machine for blowing snow as well, but my needs were greater, so I got the B3030, plus attachments.

    Belly mower for new B3200

The tractor is rather large for a MMM, but if you have trees, MMM is better; however, the ROPS will break a lot of branches. If few or no trees, best bet is a rear-end finish mower. I have a used Caroni that does a marvellous job in the rows between tree lines.
