Very little evidence left of the fire. At the time of the fire my cousin had 25 acres about a half mile from Dollywood. Most of his wooded area burned but thankfully his home was spared. Due to drought conditions, that was a tense time for all of East TN and West NC.
If you travel the Blue Ridge Parkway, I highly recommend Linville Falls and Linville Gorge sometimes known as "Grand Canyon of the East". Fantastic photo ops.
Sounds good. Don't know anyone with a mill but I'm pretty good with a grinder. Probably my most economical alternative. Machine shops are pretty expensive around here.
I turned the bumper bracket around but it was bent and I ended up having to hammer it back into shape to get it to fit. I'm unsure if the bracket was bent when I got it or using it while installed incorrectly caused it to bend.
While I had the bracket off I tried to install a 2"x 2" trailer...
Much appreciated! I was able to get a 2" hitch installed but it was a very tight fit requiring me to loosen the bumper mount bolts to get it in and out. This should make it easier. I know the dealer is having trouble getting employees like most businesses these days so I bet an inexperienced...
My bed vibrates as well but the vibration does not seem to affect the camera. I bought a cheaper camera from Amazon so I'm sure it doesn't have image stabilization. The camera works well but it is a new install so anything can happen. There is a green wire that can be attached to the brake...
I have been planning on installing a backup camera for some time because of my lack of depth perception when trying to maneuver my machine in tight spaces. After bumping trailer hitch to trailer hitch with my truck I finally ordered a camera from Amazon and installed it yesterday. I mounted the...
Doc, I finally got a few days off and have some pics for you. The first two are when I was plowing during the snow storm. The second three are the plow, frame, and attachment point.
I need to look at adjusting the relief valve cable. Depressing the brake pedal has no effect whatsoever in shifting gears on my machine. Maybe that is part of my problem. How difficult is this process?
Sorry about the late reply. I'm retired (and don't want a job) but it seems everyone wants me to work for them. So between church and working at my cousin's sporting goods store I haven't been on line as much lately.
I'm out of town now but will get some pics this coming weekend. When I...
Doc the front blade on the X900 has "feet" allowing the blade height to be adjusted so it is not as damaging to the gravel as my tractor back blade that does not have "feet". Today I scraped about an eighth of a mile of gravel road for neighbors who couldn't get out. Some the high spots on the...
