I am going to handling my own 200 hour service. I am checking to see if your RTV X1120 needs to sit flat or if elevating one end matters.
I noticed the oil pan set has the drain plug pointing toward the front. So if I jacked up the back to gain access, looks like it would completely drain...

So this Rocky Mountain Tires is a brand of tires, not a reseller of several kinds. The Rocky RX looks a little like the new mud tire on RTVs. Has anyone purchased those?

I have used Kubota engine oil since my RTV was new. It is well out of warranty now and a friend who has several diesel tractors (Green, Orange, Red and Blue) suggested I switch to Rotella T4. Just interested in your experience, especially if you have a lot of hours on yours.

Thanks Art - will look it up. I am not real handy with hydraulics but have been researching one of those Samurai cutters for my tractor. It will require some plumbing so I will need to learn.
I did not mean to suggest the spinner itself is causing the noise. I wondered if is was possible to over-heat the fluid or the steering valve by turning it a little faster. Either way, I am headed out in a few minutes to finish up. Will know more later.
One of my RTV's uses is pulling a motorized bush hog. While mowing, I have never had any strange noises from the steering.
I recently added a spinner for the steering wheel, a gift from my Brother after he watched me negotiate my orchards.
