Just wanted everyone to know that I found a small leak at the shut off valve under the fuel tank once I repaired and bled the lines tractor seems to run great with added power. It must have been sucking air hence the lack of power. Thanks to all. Phil

I think that every farmer has encountered this problem or will at some point. We have a saying ( a stray dog in the pasture is a dead dog) .243 will do a number on any dog usually the damaging dogs run in pairs though.

I'm not sure, I don't know if his transmission is slipping or if the motor bogs down. I would think that his problem wouldn't be bogging down the motor like mine is, but I will do more research.

I ran it for about 4 hours and it worked fine after the first hour.

I just thought that if the turbo was not functioning properly that would explain the loss of power.

I wouldn't think it would take an hour though. I almost think it might have something to do with the turbo but I'm not sure.

That is correct under load it loses power.

Low pulling power, not sure about fuel pressure but it will rev up fine when I push in on the clutch

Yes, the motor sounds the same. As far as I can tell the only difference is the lack of power.

Are you using the right weight oil also could be oil pump.
