Not sure if you got an answer to your problem or not. On the fuel filter thier is a lever with a vacume line on it. You should be able to push the lever and have the tractor turn off. What happened to my tractor is a dirt dobber blocked the vent line and stoped it from working properly...

I changed the filter but it still has the same issue. The light comes on after about 1 hour of driving. Anyone have any other ideas that may be causing the problem?
