Us too! Bought the starter on Amazon, made a new mounting bracket and it works great! Also going to buy a backup since who knows how long it will hold up, but so much cheaper!

Is this inexpensive fix still working for you? Our 850 has been sitting here useless for months as we refuse to pay Kubota’s price for a new one. And where exactly do we find this inexpensive starter you are using here? Thanks!
