thank you for helping me out. this tractor belongs to a sportsmens club that I belong to. I do not have a service manual, free play is 3/4 of a inch, it will pull a hill in high range. I searched the net and there are issues with clutch doing what this one is doing. Mahindra knows about this but...

using a auger pto will stop running, push clutch in then back out or disengage pto and engage again pto will run again. All other function of the tractor work . all other preliminary check ok.
