Do you have pics of the different holes you are talking about? I just got the Boss V plow installed a few months ago. I know what you mean when it's in the "V" position and the front pivot point of the blade touches the ground when the shoes hold the ends up. More clarification would be helpful.
I haven't kept up with this so maybe there is an update. When I was originally looking I found a ton of different styles of LED bulbs. I think someone mentioned that it depends on how the reflector is on the RTV that will determine how the LEDs need to be on the replacement bulb. Again, I...
I bought mine from Ebay. Like $22 for 10 of them. Kubota wants around $20 just for one. I know the ones I got are probably Chinese crap but they work and I have plenty of extras if they ever do go out. Most of my buddies that have atvs or side x sides have used them and haven't had any issues...
Yep sounds just like my issue. Probably had a small short in the housing and would ground out against the mount. My hot and ground wires worked just fine for the individual lights just to test them but once I put that one bad one on it would blow every time.
Thankfully that was the issue. I...
Looks like I'll have to come up with my own design and have someone fabricate it for me. I'm thinking making it hinged will be a real pain. My thought would be to put some sort of tubes onto the bumper and then have some legs come off the rack that slides into those tubes and probably lock to...
Has anyone upgraded to led headlights? I've found some online and they all have different styles of led layouts on the bulb. I know the reflector housing design can potentially cause the leds to not throw its light very well.
Just wondering if anyone has bought some and it worked well.
I did...
Here is a pic of my current setup for the rear lights. The two inside lights are spot lights aimed straight back and the outer one is a flood light aimed towards the side a little. I need to order some new flood lights for the back as one had a ground issue.
I'll eventually get all the...
Any more updates on this?
I have the x1100c model. How would I go about turning it up a little? I don't want to be rolling coal and pushing the engine to the max, but a little extra HP would be nice. I would imagine the engines are slightly tuned down from factory for a safety factor.
I know I can go get a regular rack like that and use my front hitch receiver or do like VA1100 and mount it not using the hitch but either way it lengthens the rtv quite a bit. I'd rather not have to make the whole machine longer if I can help it, especially if I'm in the woods on trails.
Here are some pics of the mounts I made. I think it was 1/4" steel plate that was scrap at work and cut it into a "L" shape and then bent it down a little to get the light bar lower. A guy at work powder coated it for me. Worked really well and looks very nice.
Has anyone seen someone sell or anyone ever fabricate their own front hood rack for a rtv x1100c? I've seen racks for all the other models, old and new, but not for the cab version. I know it's because it has the cab and the roll bars aren't accessible due to the windshield, but has anyone ever...
Not sure why it's working. I just know it's on my rtv and it's working just fine. Yes, it is running through the relay that is prewired from the factory that has a 15 amp fuse. I can turn on all my lights and everything runs great. LED lights don't pull much power at all compared to regular...
There is no bracket needed. When you buy an aftermarket stereo there will be a metal cage/bracket that you slide off, insert into the radio slot on the RTV and then bend a bunch of little tabs to hold it in place. Then slide the radio in and you are good to go.
