the diagram worked :) how about the key ways(I don't have my glasses} looks like maybe #14? I have seen the shaft that holds the key get worn out of shape and keys shear off. Looks like the bottom right could also be forced out of wack, looks like #15 and 5 are some type of clamp style bolt...

I believe you'll have to tear into it. Without pictures its hard to crasp what mught be going on. Keep us updated, be interesting as to what you find.

It depends Galeblanc, tractors with tracks are usually much larger and are used in muddy fields etc... Personally I don't see much of a need for tracks on a subcompact just an over all view. If someones needing more traction then either go bigger and 4wd or get a set of chains JMO. Of course...

Well if it was okay before it broke and your fix then I'd start with what ever you fixed. Check your weld and anything that you took off/put back on. If all that seems good then you more then likely bent/broke something else that you're not noticing. Have any pictures, that may help?

Now now now come on folks the ethanol is for a cleaner world. Don't worry that your saw will only last a year or two then be junk. Heck look at it this way you get a new machine this way. I have had good luck with Marvel mystery oil(for all my engines) and just a bit extra on the 2 cycle...

I don't know about your particular tractor but would like to write start with the simplest stuff 1st. Also check the shaft that goes to the front drive, I have seen them get messed up before. sorry I can't be of more help

Dieselman; that's quite a story, you should send it to MMO, maybe they'd give you a year supply free :D I have used it in older engines{oil} allways use it for a fuel additive gas or diesel. I know there has been a lot of issue's with modern gas{ethanol} engines, Atleast the small ones...

You're not alone I filter my used oil and add also, never had any problems.
