New Holland Blue

good for these guys with NH's to know... I know when I touch up my tractor, I buy Chevrolet engine orange and this is almost a perfect match.

    Adding weight

I don't use any extra weights. Have no need for it., Had R1's loaded on last tractor and said never again. R1's prematurely wear on out rock, shale, ledge, and being loaded only accellerated the wear.

    Mahindra now selling implements

not here, dealers don't even have to work at it,. and many will look you right in the eye and tell you, screw these yuppies, they have it young where we never did.. most of it is lack of economic knowledge and more so jealousy

    Mahindra now selling implements

every time Kubota sent a questionaire, I put, place MSRP pricing in the web page. It would stop the dealers around here, some of them that get MSRP and quite a bit more,., Their gouging would force them to become better dealers,, (more honest)

    TYM Tractors

I had a Mahindra 4110 which, is a TYM tractor with Daedong (Kioti) engine, tractor was OK and did what I wanted, Not particulary in love with a Daedong motor though. Cat owns Perkins and someone told me it was really a Perkins engine in the new 603. SO, is it really a Cat or one of their...

    trucks-trailers-tractors

I've owned Dodge trucks since 1974, haven't owned a car yet,, ( wife has her cars), Bought a new 06 diesel, like the ones in the past, only this one has a 4sp automatic and high 3:73 road gears. Loader installation frustration

when I remove something, when the tractor is hot, then shut down, I immediately cycle all the hydraulics to relieve pressure, My FEL is non removable, but the hoe is, and it too is hard to reconnect if I don't cycle the hydraulics first.

    Kubota Bx 2230

I believe that after awhile, regardless of machine, one can tell by how it is cutting and adjusts the throttle accordingly. Most I've ever run the L 48 with hog mower is at 2100 and that is for real heavy knotted stuff,

You can't dig with a FEL?

I use to haul Digital DEC10 systems and other things, and frequently to Ironton, Ashland, Portsmouth and other areas, most times there, I was stuck the weekend at the plaza 52 in Ironton. Where ever I shut down, even for a night, I would buy and read the local newspaper(s). One Sunday paper...

You can't dig with a FEL?

toothbars aren't always the "instant" answer for FEL digging. Here in New England, I won't have a tooth bar because of the rock, tons of hidden ledge and huge boulders,, Digging a pond such as you did with the FEL is fine. I personally wouldn't do that here, and with a tootbar because of all the...

    Grading a road, mid blade???

the "grouser" brand is a small copy of a regular grader., I have run a Champion 14 ft articulated grader and it is the various options available to angle blades for certain results, certain conditions and the fact that one can see what they are doing as they go along. The wider the blade, the...

    L3400

Don't need to start flame wars on this new net, however, Kioti does not have a legitimate commercial machine as of yet. Commercial is a minimum of three pumps, Kioti still uses the split single pump for steering and everything else,, The other thing is, commercials have spin around seats, not...

I have an orange machine, Not Kioti, although I looked at them and they have no commercial machines, so, they were scratched off the list.. I have a little L 48 TLB and it has been flawless last 2 1/2 years, Would get another one if the need was there,

    Blizzard snow plows verses kubota(curtis)

    See,
I just recently read where this guy wants a plow for a RTV.. All along I had the impression he wanted one for a tractor... I stand by what I said, in that a Blizzard plow, full sized versions of 7 ft and above, are too heavy for tractors...
