The hand throttle only allows you to control the engine speed andis not linked to the transmission cable. I installed the hand throttle on my 900 a while back...It is just a cable that separately controls the engine speed when pulled. It does not change any of the operation of the RTV in any way. Its handy in situations where you would want to keep the engine speed up and control the ground speed...

Another shot of the Blizzard mount....open cabin with no heat...go with a joy stick.</p>

The blizzardcontrol pad on my unit. If you have an unheated cab, I,d go with the joy stick as the touch pad is hard to use with thick gloves and impossible with mitts. </p>

Here's a picture of the blizzard mounted on my 900..Keep the weight of the unit in mind because they can cause quite a "squat" when the blade is lifted.</p>

And you need to be properly dressed for the climate when you are clearing snow.</p>
