    D-Day, -0353

Back home, no worse for the wear. Light bulbs light up as I walk by:yum: (:sorry: Have to joke) Found out TODAY that I have to undergo the same thing AGAIN in a week. Seems they won't put but so many of the pellets in at once. Oh boy. In answer to the question raised above, blood sugar...

    Ford 3000 (Gas)

I had a 1973 Ford 3000 gas for 30 years. It had a loader also. Mine was shot by the time I decided it needed to re-locate. They are VERY popular tractors. Even tha gasser is a good seller. They use a fair amount of gas per hr for the size, but aren't excessively bad. They tend to be...

    GOT GREEN?????

Deere built the #70's from 1958 through 1966, then switched to the #71. The updates were minute, but the #71 ended up being one of the most versatile unit planters of all time. It stayed in the Deere line-up for over 35 years. They're extremely popular to this day. Farmers still use them set...

    GOT GREEN?????

All back together! The paint was dry enough to handle, so I re-assembled the planter. K&K Tractor called and said the decals were in todays mail. They should be here by wed. Gandy rep called to say their two nearest distributors don't handle AG products (turf, as in golf course) so he's...

    GOT GREEN?????

I tell everyone that anything I have except my wife and my MF150 has a price tag on it. Over the years, I've learned that the best way to build equity on an investment is $5 worth of paint. In spite of my screenname, I don't like, nor will I buy JUNK. I want sound mechanical condition FIRST...

    GOT GREEN?????

Seen 'em and in fact, owned one for a week. I bought one second hand and then re-sold it. I paid $800/resold for $1750. () The down side is, they're HEAVY for a 2-row planter. A large number of 2-row units end up on the back of a small tractor. The one I had wa a no-till unit that had...

After throwing Massey Ferguson RED paint all about the place last week, I needed a little contrast! So, how about GREEN & YELLOW ? I started yesterday with the latest project. Building another 2-row planter. #70 Deere Flexiplanter row units. I'll be updating them with a few optional...

    #25 Massey Ferguson 3-point disc!

Howdy gang! Been swamped the last few days. Feeling good, and getting skinny. Lost 26 lbs so far. I finally got around to painting my old disc. It's a #25 Massey Ferguson 7'-6" now. It WAS 8'-10" when I bought it. Too wide to haul, I pulled the axles, cut 7-1/2" off each and then...

All things are relative. "A great yankee brain" as compared to "an average yankee brain"....? Well, draw your own conclusions troops:rolleyes: :yum: :yum: :yum: ,:yum: and:yum:

    new guy again!

HOW-DEE:wave: Good to see another Massey Ferguson owner/enthusiast here. Those of us with superior tractor selecting skills have to keep up the efforts to let the rest of these folks know just how great they are! In any event, hope you enjoy this site. It's all about being friendly...
