    Little help please

Well, that wasn't so bad. I have to wait for lab work to return, but the digital exam and latest PSA screen numbers weren't too bad. The urologist seems to think we caught this very early on. I developed a secondary infection (kidney) that contributed to the numbers being elevated. Treating...

    Little help please

D-Day -0300 hrs. I'm sitting here watching the county road dept lay salt on our road. About 1/2" of powder fell last night. The hill in front of the house is slick. Appointmentwith urologist is in 3 hours. I have to be there 45 minutes early to fill out more paperwork. Doubtful I'll learn...

    Farmwithjunk's day off!

I have a few thoughts on the wheel weights. I don't like excessive weight on a tractor. Especially one that ends up on a trailer being pulled down the highway as much as mine will. Extra weight equals more empty space in the fuel tank. The 150 is heavy enough on the front axle as it...

    Little help please

That's my dad all over again! He died with the family thinking he was about broke. We found out 6 months later he had over a million dollars in the bank, in addition to owning a piece of land worth well over that figure. He made a few wise investments through the years, but his "depression...

    Farmwithjunk's day off!

Thankya! I use a Sharpe "Platinum" HVLP gun, about 30 psi, OEM AGCO/MF enamel, valspar hardener, PPG reducer, and a LOT of unexperienced luck. :yum: If I knew what I was doing, I would most probably realize I'm not good enough to do what I try to do.....Ignorance is bliss.

Massey Ferguson #39 2-row corn planter

Ker-THUNK:wtf:  That is the sound of my jaw smacking the floor! I'm one of those people that has to know what everything is worth. Not for any reason other than my own curiousity. I know what I was willing to pay for my planter, and I know what I had to pay for it. I've found a...

    Farmwithjunk's day off!

My bargain basement lighting in the shop.... The fenders look funny in the pictures, too many shadows and reflections. But they turned out OK for 34 degrees outside temp in a woodstove/kerosene heater warmed moisture laden shop. In other words, bad painting conditions. I don't like using...

    Farmwithjunk's day off!

With all this doctorin' and stuff goin' on, I wanted ONE DAY of play time where NO ONE 'cept me knows what I'm up to. Being the fast living, wild and crazy guy that I am, I spent the first half of the day getting paint on my new fenders. The MF150 has an original fender that took a shot from...

    Been waiting for my tractor

OLDIE???? Yer a young pup! (I got a year on ya!) There's one or two of these guys think they HAVE to have "technology" in their tractors. Not a lot you can do with "new" that you can't do with our old ones. You have AT LEAST one on your side on that issue. Glad you found us. Have fun...

Massey Ferguson #39 2-row corn planter

Todays agenda revolves around making room for the ever increasing "PROJECT PILE". I'n the last few days the shop has started taking on inventory. I just barely managed to squeeze the new planter in. There's a 7' Woods rear blade that I need to put back in the shed. (Dropped it in the...

    Sage advice and commentary
