    Raccoons

This isn't about my garden sweet corn as you may have thought. It's about raccoons eating from our cow's silage at night. They pee & poo on the silage, leaving a disease called leptospirosis that infect our cows. Causes cows to abort calves. Several years ago we got hit by an "abortion storm"...

    Cordless grinder

I got a 1200watt inverter a while back. It'll run my 4 1/2"er fine. I bought the inverter for short power outage times when no need to fire up generator , plus for easy portable AC.

    Cub Cadet 149 Question

The charge pump on the hydrostat does the hydraulic functions AND supplies the hydro unit with oil. Not enough flow to properly run a loader or splitter. Maybe 2 to 3 gpm at most. Some DO use them for a loader, but they are slow. A splitter uses more volume, so would be even slower. Mith...

    box of rocks

Jim, your processor may be overheating. My laptop started doing the "blue screen" error thing. I googled about it & they all pointed to the heat-sink cooling unit. I replaced it & she runs like new again. Same could be with your PC processor. Check that the processor cooling fins are all...

    SNAKES!!!

Hmmm....I wouldn't care for that! Haven't seen a cotton-mouth here in my area of Ky for years, as well as the Copperhead. Have seen em though. Now & then a rattlesnake is spotted or killed, but seldom. Mostly non-poisonous snakes here.

    Huh?

Been very busy with corn planting & everyday farm work. Today my wife & I rode our 1100 Virago to pick up a new fuel pump for our Massey 1100. Then stopped to eat & took the long way home. In for a break from garden tilling & hoeing.

    Where to dig

Dig on the neighbor's! Really, only you can answer that question. But, if you have hills, then you must have hilltops. Maybe you can go to a hilltop & skim dirt & not leave deep gouges.

Yep, just watched that on TV a few nights ago. It is now back where it was built too. The family that built it bought it back & it's home to stay so they say.
